- Answer A. Inflammatory psoriasis responds to emollients (they have some anti-proliferative effect) ± corticosteroids of moderate potency. The combination with calcipotriol is useful in these circumstances.
- Answer E. Erythroderma (which has other causes as well) is a medical emergency and will almost certainly require hospital admission.

- Answer B. This is one of the few indications for the use of very potent topical steroids.
- Answer D. Topical steroids are helpful in flexural psoriasis, but in this case the anti-bacterial and anti-fungal would be helpful.
